An Axton man died after he was pulled out of the ocean at North Myrtle Beach on Thursday. According to the Horry County Coroner’s Office, Timothy Eanes was pronounced dead at a local hospital after he was pulled from the ocean in the vicinity of 10th Avenue South.

Eanes death is being investigated by the North Myrtle Beach Police Department and an autopsy has been scheduled.
