Average gas prices across Virginia climbed this week by seven cents as the average price is up to $3.46 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down by a penny to $3.58 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville is up by four cents to $3.28, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by a penny for the second week in a row to $3.32 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price climbed four cents to $3.32 and in Henry County the average price is up by a penny to $3.31. Prices in Halifax County jumped up by seven cents to $3.45 a gallon.
