Two teenagers were killed during a crash in Henry County on Saturday. Virginia State Police is investigating the single-vehicle crash that occurred  on Saturday, at 12:20 am on Route 108, three tenths of a mile south of Route 928 in Henry County.

A 2014 Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on Route 108, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees.  The Chevrolet then caught fire and became fully involved.

The driver of the Chevrolet was identified as Azetta Sone Hairston, 17, of Martinsville, Va. The passenger was identified as Jahnavia Sadee Rose Hairston, 19, also of Martinsville.  Both females died at the scene. 

 It is undetermined if the occupants were wearing their seatbelts. The crash remains under investigation.
