Average gas prices across Virginia dropped by eight cents this week to $3.34 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down by nine cents to $3.44 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville dropped by a dime to $3.15, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is also down by ten cents to $3.19 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is down by 11 cents to $3.16 and in Henry County the average price is down by ten cents to $3.20. Prices in Halifax County are also down by ten cents to $3.26 a gallon.
