The Mountain Valley Pipeline has been authorized to begin service. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission authorized the pipeline to start service after the pipeline reported construction was done on Monday and requested permission to begin service to meet demand.
The Mountain Valley Pipeline runs from Northwestern West Virginia to Southern Virginia and stretches over 300 miles. Construction on the pipeline started back in 2013.
