Average gas prices across Virginia are up by a penny this week to $3.35 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country remained the same at $3.44 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by four cents to $3.11, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is also down by two cents to $3.17 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is up by six cents to $3.22 and in Henry County the average price remained the same at $3.20. Prices in Halifax County are up by nine cents to $3.35 a gallon.
