Voters in Pittsylvania County and Danville will head to the polls today for the June Primary elections. Republican voters will vote on the nomination for the House of Representatives 5th District seat. 

Incumbent Bob Good is facing opposition from John McGuire, who was endorsed by former President and current Presidential candidate Donald Trump. 

Republicans will also vote for the candidate for US Senate between Hung Cao, Eddie Garcia, Jonathan Emord, Chuck Smith, and Scott Parkinson. The winner will face incumbent Tim Kaine in November.

Democrats will vote on the candidate for the House of Representatives 5th District seat between Gloria Witt, Paul Riley, and Gary Terry.
