Danville City Council approved multiple fee increases and a new fee on Tuesday night. The new fee is for short term rentals in the city. Those operating short term rentals will owe $50 for a full year and $25 for a half year.

Some of the fees that will increase for the city include applications to the board of zoning appeals increasing from $206 to $250. Planning application fees are rising from $360 to $400.

Sanitation fees will also increase by $1 a month.
