A long time Danville Business will be under new ownership soon. Piggly Wiggly in Danville announced on Facebook on Thursday that the Setliff’s are retiring and selling the business.

The Setliff’s opened and ran the Piggly Wiggly located at 1304 South Boston Road for 40 years. The store is being sold to a group out of High Point, NC.

The post says that the ownership of the store will turn over in a few weeks and it will remain a Piggly Wiggly. The new owners plan to use a new warehouse to stock the store.

A grand opening will be held in the near future.
