An organization has launched a campaign in Danville to save more pets. The Best Friends Society has started the Danville Deserves Better campaign.

The society has a goal of getting all public shelters in the country to be no-kill by 2025. The average euthanasia rate at public animal shelters across the state last year was 14%.
