Average gas prices across Virginia are up by one cent this week to $3.32 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is up by a nickel $3.49 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville jumped 11 cents to $3.22, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is up by 9 cents to $3.22 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is up by seven cents to $3.24 and in Henry County the average price is up by five cents $3.23. Prices in Halifax County are up by eight cents to $3.35 a gallon.
