The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a Heat Advisory for Wednesday across the southside. Heat indexes across the southside are expected to range from 101 to 108 degrees.

The Heat Advisory will be in effect from 12 pm to 8 pm. The National Weather Service is encouraging residents to limit time outside and to hydrate.
