Two Danville men that were arrested on child porn charges will each serve six months in prison. 28-year-old Dylan Timothy Hardy and 18-year-old James Michael Andrew Richardson both pleaded guilty in May.

Both men pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and possession of child pornography  as a second offense.

Hardy was taken into custody on January 4 after an investigation discovered several images of children participating in sexual acts on his cellphone. He was charged with one count of distribution/manufacture of child pornography and 35 counts of possession of child pornography.

Richardson was arrested on 39 counts of possession of child pornography.

When both men were arrested it was reported that the images related to the investigations were digital in nature, and there is no indication of physical contact or involvement with any local children.
