Average gas prices across Virginia dropped four cents this week to $3.41 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down by a penny to $3.50 a gallon, according to AAA.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by two cents to $3.36, while the average price in Pittsylvania County remained the same at $3.34 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is down by four cents to $3.33 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is down by a penny to $3.35. Prices in Halifax County are down by three cents at $3.47 a gallon.
