The Halifax Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Monday.  The victim was taken to the hospital and no further updates have been released related to his condition. 

Not much information has been released at this time, but the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no indication of an active threat to the public.  This is an ongoing investigation.  Witnesses are asked to call the Halifax Police Department at 434-476-2526.
