Average gas prices across Virginia dropped three cents this week to $3.38 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country remained the same at $3.50 a gallon, according to AAA.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by eight cents to $3.28 while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by six cents to $3.28 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price remained the same at $3.33 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is also unchanged at $3.35. Prices in Halifax County are down by six cents to $3.41 a gallon.
