Several dogs were seized in a potential dog fighting operation in Halifax County on Thursday. The investigation stemmed from a tip received by the Halifax County Sheriff’s office.

In total 27 dogs were seized after training devices and medications associated with dog fighting were seized. All of the dogs were also being kept outside.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing.
