Average gas prices across Virginia dropped six cents this week to $3.32 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down three cents to $3.47 a gallon, according to AAA.

The average price of gas in Danville fell by eight cents for the second week in a row to $3.20, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by four cents to $3.24 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price dropped by a nickel $3.28 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is down by three cents to $3.32. Prices in Halifax County dropped by six cents for the second week in a row to $3.35 a gallon.
