Average gas prices across Virginia are up by two cents this week to $3.34 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down three cents for the second week in a row to $3.44 a gallon, according to AAA.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by two cents to $3.18, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is up by three cents to $3.27 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is up by a penny to $3.29 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is down by a penny to $3.31. Prices in Halifax County jumped by six cents to $3.41 a gallon.
