On Monday, the Danville Planning Commission recommended approval of a special use permit at 400 Bridge Street to request a waiver of maximum density. The plan is to turn the three story building into 25 apartments. The units would mostly be made up of one bedroom units with a few two bedroom units.

The building was formerly a part of the cedar works facility. The proposed apartments will be voted on by Danville City Council at a future meeting.
