A man has been arrested in Roxboro, NC for human trafficking and other charges. 39-year-old Alfredo Davis was arrested on August 10th after police received a call about a suspicious individual near a bank.

Police discovered dozens of fraudulent ID cards including different names and addresses for a 65-year-old woman who was also the passenger in the vehicle. There were also thousands of dollars in cash and fraudulent or stolen checks along with marijuana in the vehicle.

The woman is in stable condition in the hospital after being medically evaluated. Davis has been charged with human trafficking, trafficking stolen identities, identity theft, and possession of Marijuana. He was taken to Person County Jail and is being held without bond.

According to WRAL, Davis was also arrested at the Milwaukee airport in 2022 on similar charges.
