A Roanoke woman has been arrested after being wanted for arson by the Eden Police Department. Tesha Camelle Joyce was taken into custody on Thursday by the Roanoke City Police Department Violence Suppression Unit without incident.
Joyce was wanted for a fire that occurred on Monday night in Eden at 2388 Harrington Highway. All occupants were able to escape the home without injury, but the fire caused extensive damage to the home and a vehicle.
After a thorough investigation, detectives learned the fire was started with malice by Joyce. She was given no bond and will have her first appearance in Roanoke tomorrow.
