The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors have voted to name part of a road at the Berry Hill Mega Site after two men who were instrumental in the project.

The county will ask VDOT to name part of Route 311/Berry Hill Road Harville Saunders Parkway after Coy Harville and Sherman Saunders. Harville was a long time member of the Board or Supervisors who passed away two years ago. Saunders is a long time Danville City Councilman. Both served on the Regional Industrial Facility Authority.

The new connector road runs into Berry Hill Road and runs to the North Carolina state line. The road is expected to be complete in October.
