Two people were arrested following animal seizures in Danville last week. The Danville Police Department has arrested 37-year-old Tomara Tanya Twigg on 10 counts of no rabies vaccines and four counts of animal neglect.
Her son, 18-year-old Kenneth Tate has been arrested on 36 counts of animal neglect and one count of animal cruelty.
Last week on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 15, Animal Control Officers began investigating animal abuse at Danville Pet Resort located in the 200 block of Ash St. where a dozen dogs were seized in poor condition. Some of the dogs required immediate veterinary assistance.
The Danville Area Humane Society aided in transport and seizure of the animals. This investigation remains ongoing.
