A student has been arrested following a bomb threat at Magna Vista High School. On Thursday, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a bomb threat made against Magna Vista High School, which was shared via social media.
Deputies and investigators immediately began an investigation and were able to trace the threat back to a 17-year-old student. During the investigation, the suspect confessed that the threat was a hoax.
The juvenile has been charged with threatening to bomb or burn a building. The juvenile is currently incarcerated at W.W. Moore Juvenile Detention Facility.
