A Pittsylvania County man has died from drowning in a North Carolina lake. According to the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Farmer Lake on Friday just after 6 am.

Shortly after arrival, emergency crews retrieved the victim from the lake. The man was identified as 67-year-old John G. Gibson, of Pittsylvania County.
