The Danville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place at Charlie’s Stop and Shop in the 100 block of Franklin Turnpike on Tuesday.

At approximately 9 am Tuesday, two males walked into Charlie’s with handguns and demanded money.

They took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a black BMW.
