The Danville Police Department has made an arrest following the Wednesday night homicide on Fagan Street.

Danville resident Tyree Rafael Brandon, 29, has been charged with second degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm in public to cause injury.

Brandon’s photo is being withheld at this time from public release for investigative purposes.

Just before 10 pm Wednesday, officers responded to Fagan St. for a well-being check when they discovered a male lying in a driveway suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

33-year-old Azra Jermann Keene, of Danville, was rendered lifesaving aid at the scene. He was transported and later died as a result of his injuries.
