An Eden woman that was previously reported missing is now wanted by police. On Friday, October 18, the Eden Police Department responded to 507 Washburn Avenue in Eden, in reference to a missing woman named Ashley Patterson, while on scene officers looked through a window and observed a deceased dog.
The Eden Police Department Investigators later learned that Patterson went with a friend to Virginia, and had left the dog unattended, with no one to care for it.
After a thorough investigation and consulting with the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office, Detective Tyson Scales secured warrants on 40-Year old Ashley Dawn Patterson of Eden, for the following offenses:
• 1 Count of Cruelty to Animals (Felony)
• 1 Count of Manufacture Marijuana (Felony)
