Spots are now open for Pittsylvania County Parks and Recreations After School Program at Kentuck Elementary School. The pilot program aims to be an affordable childcare program for school-aged children.
The program hopes to help address the shortage of childcare options in the area. The hope is that the program will eventually be expanded countywide in the future.
The program is open to Kentuck students ages 5-11. The program runs Monday-Friday until 6 pm. The cost is $55 per child with a $52 sibling discount.
