Revenue at the Danville Casino dropped slightly in October down to just over $18.2 million. Revenue at Caesars Virginia fell by about $100,000 from the previous month after bringing in just under $18.3 million in September.
Just under $13.4 million came from slots, while just over $4.8 million of the revenue was made from table games. Of the three casinos in Virginia, Caesars Virginia was second in revenue in September behind Rivers Casino Portsmouth at over $25.4 million and ahead of Hard Rock Bristol at just over $13.4 million.
The City of Danville will get just under $1.1 million in tax revenue for the month. Caesars Virginia is scheduled to open its new 587,000 square foot casino resort in Danville on December 12.
