A Ringgold man has been arrested for a homicide that occurred in Caswell County in December 2023. On Friday, the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Joshua Lashawn Johnson for first degree murder in the death of Joshua Lamont White.

The murder occurred in December 2023 at the NV Lounge. Johnson has been placed in the Caswell County Detention Center under no bond. His first court appearance will be on Wednesday at 9 am in Caswell County District Court.

The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Danville Police Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, and Virginia State Police in the investigation.
