There were no injuries during a house fire in Danville on Sunday. According to the Danville Fire Department, units responded at 9:21 am to a reported structure fire at 167 Canterbury Rd.
Upon arrival, units found a two story home with smoke visible from an exterior fire that was spreading to the enclosed front porch of the home. The occupants and one pet self evacuated. A fire hose line was extended and the fire was extinguished with minimal damage to the home itself.
The Danville Fire Department was assisted by Danville Live Saving Crew, Danville PD, Electric Department and the Gas Department. The fire was determined to be accidental.
