A GW High School student was killed during a crash in Halifax on Thursday. 14-year-old Jakavien Fallen was killed in the crash. His brother Atavian Fallen was also severely injured in the crash and is at Duke hospital fighting for his life.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist the family with the funeral and medical expenses. Jakavien was a rising star at GW on both the football team and basketball team. He played varsity snaps as a freshman this past season for the Eagles and was the MVP of the basketball team last season.
