There were no injuries during a fire in Danville on Thursday morning. The Danville Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 1525 Glenn Street at 6:01 am.

The first unit arrived in three minutes to find a one-story single family dwelling with smoke coming from the front door of the dwelling. Upon further investigation, a fire was located in a bedroom floor. Units deployed hose lines and brought the fire under control in approximately thirty minutes.

Searches of the structure were conducted and crews found no one inside. One occupant was discovered outside the residence without injury, and was provided shelter while units operated.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
