A candlelight vigil will be held on Saturday for a GW High School student that was killed in a car crash recently. 14-year-old J’Kavien Fallen was killed in a car crash on December 26 in Halifax County.
His brother Atavian Fallen was also severely injured in the crash and is at Duke hospital fighting for his life.
The vigil will be held on Saturday at 5:30 pm in the new parking lot at GW High School. Those who come are asked to wear grey, white, or blue.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist the family with the funeral and medical expenses. J’Kavien was a rising star at GW on both the football team and basketball team. He played varsity snaps as a freshman this past season for the Eagles and was the MVP of the basketball team last season.
