The Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 396 Overby St at 1:30 am on Friday. Upon arrival crews found a detached garage fully involved.

Also an  uninhabited home to the rear of the garage located at 309 Scales St caught on fire as well. Crews pulled attack lines and extinguished both structures. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Fire Marshalls office.
