Two people have been arrested following a shooting in Henry County on Wednesday. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call of shots being fired into a vehicle on Fellowship Drive at 4 pm on Wednesday.
The investigation revealed that the alleged shooter, identified as Stacey Leon Moss, 57, 520 Fellowship Drive, had retreated into the residence after the incident and refused to exit when law enforcement arrived. Following a period of negotiation, MOSS eventually exited the home and was taken into custody without incident.
While still on the scene, deputies observed a second individual who was wanted on unrelated charges. The individual, identified as Zanthus Gerando Hairston, 46, 468 Fellowship Drive, was also arrested without incident.
Investigators processed the scene and collected evidence related to the shooting.
Moss has been charged with malicious wounding, shooting into an occupied motor vehicle, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless handling of a firearm, and discharging a firearm in a public place.
Hairston has been charged with a probation violation. Both Moss and Hairston are currently incarcerated at the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
