A man was arrested in Danville on Sunday for driving under the influence after an incident involving a train. According to the Danville Police Department, officers responded at 10:45 am on Sunday to the railroad crossing at Edgewood Drive for a train that reportedly struck an unoccupied 2015 Ford Focus.
Officers then found 30-year-old Luevano Ranferi Campos, at his nearby residence where he had walked after dialing 911 to report he got his vehicle stuck on the tracks. There were no injuries in the crash.
This incident remains under investigation. Campos received a $1,500 bond.
