Martinsville Speedway and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office were both recognized recently by NASCAR. Martinsville Speedway, in partnership with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, were awarded the NASCAR Excellence in Security Award for 2024.

Martinsville Speedway was recognized as the most secure venue in the NASCAR Series for 2024. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office partners with Martinsville Speedway to provide security for the race.

The award was presented at the NASCAR Safety & Operations Summit.
