Some areas in Pittsylvania County are currently without water after a water main was hit. According to Pittsylvania County, a contractor doing underground cabling has hit a water main along 58 West in the vicinity of Faith Memorial Church.

Crews are attempting to locate the break and do not have a repair timeline at this time.

Some areas will be without water service. Those affected will be as follows: Areas North and South of Rt 58 Martinsville Highway between Westover Drive and #7688 Martinsville Highway, Berry Hill Road, Westridge Farms Subdivision (Blue Ridge View Dr, Ridgeway Dr, Westridge Dr.), Beckham Court, Beckham Lane, Rivertree Drive, Bowe Street, Pin Oak Lane, Meadowview Drive, Meadowbrook Circle, Martinsville Hwy (from Westover Dr. west to the 58 Expressway Overpass) and West Carter Drive.
