A Danville Civil Rights leader has died. Bibleway Cathedral announced yesterday that Gloria Campbell has died at 94 years old. 

Campbell and her husband, Lawrence Campbell, found Bibleway Cathedral in 1953. She marched with Dr. Martin Luther King four times during his visits to Danville during the Civil Rights Movement,

Lawrence Campbell died in 2023. It has not been announced when the funeral will be held.
