A man has been arrested in Caswell County on multiple charges, including assault. According to the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Billy Lee Thompson, of Gibsonville, was arrested on a felony charge of habitual misdemeanor assault.

Thompson has also been charged with misdemeanor charges of two counts of assault on a female, two counts of communicating threats, two counts of misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, misdemeanor child abuse, interfering with emergency communications, two counts of violation of a court order, and probation violation.

Thompson has been placed in the Caswell County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 5 at 9 am.
