Two people were killed during an accident in Pittsylvania County yesterday. According to the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, two people were killed in what appeared to be an electrocution on Thursday at around 4 pm.

The incident caused a fire in the 5100 block of Dry Fork Road. When crews responded they found two people deceased. Early reports suggest the two people were electrocuted.

Reportedly a power line came in contact with some farming equipment. No names have been released and an investigation is underway.
