An Amber Alert has been issued for a child that was abducted in Virginia Beach. According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, 12-year-old Juan Acevedo was last seen at 9 am on Friday in the 200 block of Mica Avenue.

Acevedo is believed to be in extreme danger and was abducted by an unknown person. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie, blue pants, and black shoes. Acevedo is  5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 105 pounds.
