Two people were injured during a stabbing incident in Henry County on Monday. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 4:05 pm to 3134 Sunset Road in Collinsville for a reported stabbing.

Once on scene, deputies made contact with a juvenile male who had apparent cuts to his hand. The juvenile, along with his father, were uncooperative with deputies. The juvenile was transported to Carillon Hospital in Roanoke for treatment of his injuries and was later released.

Through the course of the investigation, deputies obtained a description of another individual’s vehicle. Using this information, deputies were able to locate the vehicle and the male subject involved in the incident at 20 Hurst Lane in Collinsville.

This individual also had apparent cuts to his wrist and body, as well as injuries consistent with an assault. He was transported to SOVAH Health of Martinsville, where he was treated for his injuries and subsequently released. This male subject was also uncooperative during the investigation.

No warrants have been issued at this time due to the lack of cooperation from both parties involved.
This investigation is ongoing, anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463). The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2500.00 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
