Average gas prices across Virginia are up by a penny this week to $3.04 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country rose by four cents to $3.13 a gallon, according to AAA.

The average price of gas in Danville climbed by four cents this week to $2.88, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is up by three cents at $2.90 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is down by a penny to $2.95 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is also down by one cent to $2.94. Prices in Halifax County are up by four cents this week to $3.08 a gallon.
