The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man wanted on multiple charges. Deputies are asking for assistance locating 37-year-old Steven Richard Bartee, of Alton.

Bartee is wanted for a felony probation violation, possession of a schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance, possession of a firearm by felon and possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance.
