The Danville Public Works Department is temporarily restricting compost distribution due to a limited supply, effective immediately.
To ensure availability for as many residents as possible, the following restrictions are in place:
- Dump trucks will NOT be loaded.
- Pickup trucks may receive a maximum of one bucket scoop.
- If a pickup truck has a trailer, compost may be loaded there instead, but the total limit remains one bucket scoop.
These restrictions will be lifted once the compost stockpile is replenished.
