Beginning Tuesday, and continuing through Thursday, westbound traffic on Third Avenue heading toward Wendell Scott Drive will be detoured onto Locust Lane, then Sherwood Drive, before reaching Arnett Boulevard.

The detour will be in place from 8 am to 4 pm each day to allow for sidewalk and curb and gutter installation at the corner of Arnett Boulevard and Wendell Scott Drive.

The southbound lane of Wendell Scott Drive will remain open during this time. This work is part of the ongoing Arnett Boulevard sidewalk project, which began in fall 2024.
